If you're looking for the rare and unusual, this is your set. The iridescent sheen barely shows in the pictures- but not in real life. They look like the icy crust on snow in the sunlight- a shining rainbow across sleek, icy textured glass. The glasses look more tumbler than lowball- but that's just because you can't see scale in pictures. They're actually quite tiny juice glasses that would be...

Realistically, I know there was a father and he got lost or broken. But dad's in real life do too, and this is a really familiar scene to me. If it weren't for the hat on the little boy, it could easily be my family. My brother wouldn't have worn that hat for anything. Santa or no Santa, there would have been a war. Sometimes things happen, and families aren't "normal". It doesn't make it any l...

Swirling winds are sculpted into each section of these gorgeous Bavarian beauties. The foot of each piece is stamped Rosenthal crystal. I tried very hard to get the pictures perfect, but it's still isn't there. The art nouveau style almost looks as though it was lifted from an Alphonse Mucha piece. I have other matching pieces listed separately in my store - I'm starting with 2 sets of six of b...

This is solid rock maple from Sprague and Carleton furniture of New Hampshire. It's stamped on the piece- I totally cheated. When they say solid, they mean solid. This is 1960s old growth maple- heavy, dense and serious hardwood. The design lends itself to a multitude of styles- boho, colonial, farmhouse and coastal to name a few. The sides alternate between the arched doorways and solidly rout...

This is the ultimate horn handled set- steak knives for twelve, plus the carving knife and fork. There's a range in color on the handles. From a reddish brown to darker. It works for me, though. They're from different manufacturers, but all consistent in size and design. If you check the pictures, I'm sure you'll agree. This vintage mid century set is a show stealing keeper. The carving knife i...
